Burr Walnut Vanity By Pearce London 1850 RESERVED
A stunning vanity box made from a beautiful burr walnut giving off an attractive eye catching grain. The box is in a great original condition.
It made by Pearce of London 77 Cornhill around c.1850. It has a mother of pearl inlay on the centre lid and also a similar inlay for the escutcheon.
The interior you are greeted by then vanity area with various glass bottles and jars. Inside the lid is velvet lining but no mirror. The tray lifts to reveal more storage space. The bottom drawer is all original and in great condition. On the lip of the drawer is the makers label. It comes with a fully functioning lock and key and dates to mid Victorian 1850.
