Collectors Harewood Georgian Single Tea Caddy 1790 SOLD
A beautiful collectors addition Harewood tea caddy in super original condition. Not over restored in any manner keeping its authenticity and originality very nicely. It’s main wood being Harwood it consist of the typical Georgian features in a cantered cornering shape design. Its cross banded in tulipwood and boxwood bound with a selection of marquetry fans, lid front and back. A splendid example of Neoclassical fittings with cantered corners. A truly lovely collectors examples dating to c.1780-90 and comes with fully functioning lock and key.
