Coromandel Writing Slope c.1850

Here we have a delightful writing slope made from coromandel with two brass inlays, one to the centre lid and the other to the centre top.  It also has a thin inlay of brass decorating the box.  Please note the back and sides are made from an alternative wood.  The interior comprises of the writing slope section inducing a dark red leather padded area all completely original with various storage sections.  This example includes 2x secret drawer activated by pulling up a small divider as shown in the pictures.  This slope comes with a working lock and key and dates early Victorian c.1850.
