A large sized writing slope made from a stunning amboyna wood which is all in a great condition.
On the centre lid it has a mother of pearl plaque inlaid.  The interior is the slope comprises of its original velvet and underneath that you will find two storage compartments.  A great all round example dating to the mid Victorian period 1850.  It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
