Rare Collectable Georgian Single Tea Caddy SOLD
An extremely collectable single lid tea caddy dating to Georgian 1790. The main exterior wood is made from burr yew giving off that decorative swirling look to the wood. The caddy is bounded around the edging in tulipwood. The green look is sycamore wood. It has the iconic Georgian shell inlay on the front lid with oval inlays on the sides made from satinwood. Also adding to the level of quality and uniqueness is the sycamore columns. The interior is empty with the original silver lining inside for your tea. A truly exception example and a great investment piece. It comes with fully functioning lock and key.
