Rosewood Vanity Campaign Box c.1820 SOLD
A beautiful example of a fully kitted gents vanity campaign box. The main exterior wood is rosewood which has been brass bounded in brass for great strength and durability. It has a military inlay on the centre lid. It also has flush brass carrying handles on each side. The interior comprises of all the gents vanity materials and equipment with the bottles made with silver plate lids. It has a Brahma lack and fully functioning key. This example dates to Georgian c.1820.
