French Kingwood Display Box 1860

A beautiful French made kingwood box with a hand painted plaque section to the top.  It’s in a completely original state from the outside to the inside.  Decorative brass around the box.  The kingwood has been superbly laid to created patterned synchronisation through out.  The box can be used to display all manner of small objects.  It dates to early Victorian 1850-60 and comes with it’s original key with working lock.
