Georgian Brass Bound Campaign Box c.1820
A superb example of late Georgian craftsmanship, this elegant campaign box is beautifully fashioned from rich, dark mahogany and reinforced with classic brass strapwork—typical of military and travel boxes of the early 19th century. The clean, angular lines and rounded edges are complemented by the striking brass mounts, which not only add aesthetic charm but were designed for durability during travel.
This piece opens to reveal a well-preserved interior complete with a lift-out jewellery tray, making it as practical as it is decorative. The tray provides ample space for rings, cufflinks, and smaller personal items, while the compartment beneath offers additional storage.
A working lock and original key are included, allowing the contents to be kept secure.
