A remarkable Hexagonal tea caddy in super original condition through out.  It showcases 3 inlaid shells to the front and a fan inlay to the lid.  All 4 oval inlays all made from boxwood and sycamore wood.  The main exterior wood is mahogany with boxwood stringing and banded in tulipwood with also some ebony stringing too.  A fascinating shape and a must have for any box lover! A typical Georgian look dating to c.1800.  The interior lids are made from mahogany and they continue the amazing shape of this caddy.  It comes with a fully functioning lock and key.
