Stunning Hexagonal Georgian Tea Caddy SOLD

An absolute stunning caddy formed in the shape of a hexagon with 6 sides.  A very unusual attractive look this caddy is made from flamed mahogany with tulipwood and boxwood bound around the edging.  It’s in absolutely beautiful condition through out with no defects.  The top lid comprises of it’s original Georgian handle.  The caddy dates to c.1790.
The interior comprises of two shaped lids that fir neatly inside also made from mahogany.  A real collectors example and a solid investment.  Comes with fully functioning lock and key.
