Boxwood Ruler Set Canadian c.1940

A unique set of boxwood rulers situated inside a rectangular mahogany box.  One ruler is replaced.   Each ruler stating its measuring size on the left hand side.  It has a maker label to the lid - Hughes & Owen ltd Montreal.  Dates 1940-50.
