A beautiful, figured walnut ladies box in super all round condition.  It has a brass handle to the centre lid.  The main section of the box contains the sewing section with various compartments and sewing reels.  Beneath that are two jewellery drawers accessible by two brass handles.  In front of this is a bevelled glass front.  This lovely example dates to early Edwardian c.1900 and comes with a fully functional lock and key.
