Rare Immaculate Urn & Husk oval Tea Caddy 1790 SOLD

Here we have a rare urn and husk inlay caddy (hard to come by). Primarily made from mahogany it’s inlaid in boxwood and tulip wood. The actual urn and husk is inlaid in boxwood and so is the fan on the centre lid. Original brass Georgian handle on the centre lid also. 
Another key factor is the rope twist banding around the edging of the lid which is made from mahogany and boxwood. I must say it’s in a pristine condition inside and out.
