A prime coromandel ladies work box. Primarily made from coromandel with a mother of pearl front eschutcheon and a mother of pearl inlay to the top. It’s all in a nice sympathetically restored manner. The interior comprises of the lift out tray which stores all working/sewing materials.
Underneath the tray displays a storage area. Comes with a working key and dates to Victorian 1870.
