Spectacular Striped Oval Caddy 1780

A suburb rare striped oval tea caddy.  Sublime inlay decorating this caddy with a combination of satinwood and ebony creating a synchronised in line pattern through out.  The exterior edging is inlaid with delicate rope twist.  The top comprises of a small decorative brass handle.   Not many caddies have been design like this, making this one a rare and great opportunity.  It’s genuinely in amazing shape with the quality running to the interior.  The inlays run inside to continue the striped theme.  This example dates to the Georgian period 1790 and has a fully functioning lock and key.  Own something timeless and magical with this one of the kind caddy!
