A rare collectors tartan ware sewing reel box. Made from tartan ware inlay which particular example is to commemorate the wedding of Alfred Duke if Edinburgh and the grand Duchess Maria of Russia 1875. Makers label marked Mc Farlane in original fantastic condition. The interior consists of 6 sewing cotton reels which run through small holes around the box, pull through for use. A rare collectors addition.
